What the class entails:
In order to form a strong physical base, the participant will first undergo training in the basic forms, exercises and Kicks. They will then be introduced to Animal Stances and Kalaripayattu exercises, which involve more complicated sequences, and will gain an in-depth understanding into their usefulness during performance.
Kalaripayattu teaches you to be prepared to defend yourself from sudden attacks, it gives you patience, the ability to be punctual, to have confidence in what you do and discipline. It also frees us from chronic illnesses. Kalaripayattu reduces rage and aggressiveness and helps you find calmness.
The module ends with a demonstration of the skills learnt in Kalaripayattu class.
