Derived from the Sanskrit word yuj, Yoga means union of the individual consciousness or soul with the Universal Consciousness or Spirit. Yoga is a 5000 year old Indian body of knowledge. Though many think of yoga only as a physical exercise where people twist, turn, stretch, and breathe in the most complex ways, these are actually only the most superficial aspect of this profound science of unfolding the infinite potentials of the human mind and soul.

Faculty: Monika

Monika Pawlowska is 500RYT Yoga Alliance registered teacher, who has completed over 1200 hours of training. She studied in The Yoga Institute in Santacruz Mumbai (Classical Yoga), followed by advanced training in Shiva Yoga Peeth in Rishikesh (Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa). She has worked with children, seniors, corporate clients, complete beginners and advanced students. She taught at retreats in the UK and have delivered yoga education courses on both philosophy and practical techniques.

With 10 years of yoga practice and 3 years of teaching experience in London and Mumbai, Monika offers alignment based Hatha Flow classes, with strong adjustments and modifications to ensure that anyone despite of their level of ability, age and health condition gains the full benefit from their practice. She likes to challenge her students, but always approaches it from a place of kindness and compassion, putting emphasis on awareness and self-acceptance. Monika is also certified in Thai Yoga Massage, and sometimes offers little taters of it to her students while in shavasana.

You will leave her classes feeling re-energised, in tune with your body, and with a sense of peace and equanimity.
