Belly dance focuses on isolating different parts of the body and moving them independently in sensuous patterns and routines.
This helps develop flexibility, strengthen abdominal muscles and build upper body strength.

Our Belly Dance course is perfect for those with little or no experience. Exact course content may differ depending on course length and your needs, but topics covered will generally include:
-Build core muscle strength
-Improve and learn posture used for belly dance movements
-Explore the foundation of belly dance movements, to include hip, chest and arm combinations
-Learn to isolate muscles
-Discover belly dance coordination, combinations and choreography with the use of individual movements and isolations
-Learn to shimmy and improve this movement for the duration of the course
-Increase the fluidity of arm movements

Having learnt and practiced the art form for several years, she understands that learning the form is a slow yet enjoyable process. She takes her students through the different levels of techniques, starting from very basic moves to complex layered movement; all seamless bound into choreographies and simple routines to ensure practice of each move. Usually her students don’t even realise how far along they have come in their skill. To add to her grace, Sara has also been training in Kathak for a couple of years.
